Renko Chart: A Renko chart is a type of financial chart of Japanese origin used in technical analysis that measures and plots price changes. A Renko chart consists of bricks, which proponents say more clearly show market trends and increase the signal-to-noise ratio compared to typical candlestick charts. It is a la heat map, which means, that the box width will not be constant, but will follow the timeline, therefore different width boxes will be drawn. Heikin Ashi Chart: Heikin-Ashi is a Japanese trading indicator that means ‘average pace’. Heikin-Ashi charts have a similar look to candlestick charts, however, they have a more smooth appearance as they are essentially taking an average of the price movements rather than tracking every price movement as with candlesticks.
